Midsummer Eve

Cold summerday
I should be celebrating
it's Midsummer eve,
a big festivity
Yet the rain reminds us
Don't have too fun!
Dance under heaven,
forgot and run

Pouring rain,
no fire in the open
sea is plain
no rowboats or swimmers
cold and freezing
as in the early Spring
waiting for that call
and my phone to ring

Inviting me to the summer
pick up the seven flowers
hide them under my pillow
maybe the truth will swallow
My future love
will show me his face
if I have the right flowers
in it's place

I sing a chant
of a magic spell
out to the midnight sun
my heart will yell
talk with magic
run amongst the clouds
Dreams will they come
and show my other part

Tell me moon
and my midnight sun
how long will it take
before I run
towards a luck in my life
to be somebody's wife
tell me starlight shining bright
whisper me the spell
into the night
